Just Write

A friend recently men­tioned fears of dying.

I think that many peo­ple would admit, in moments of quiet hon­esty, to sim­i­lar fears.

I did my best to find some encour­age­ment and reassurance:

• “…he answered me and deliv­ered me from all my fears.” Psalm 34:4
• “…fear not, for I am with you” Isa­iah 41:10
• “You will not fear the ter­ror of the night” Psalm 91:5
• “I will fear no evil” Psalm 23:4
• “…who­ever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eter­nal life. He does not come into judg­ment, but has passed from death to life.” John 5:24
